For the money 1 GS/sec, 100 MHz BW ...could be handy...has limited voltage ranges & waveform samples...but the price is right.    Wonder if it is any good?

https://www.tomtop.com/p-e11025.html      ...wait till they improve to 4 chan & 200MHz--then a super winner.

After seeing some of the reviews...it seems to not really be able to get to 100MHz or 1 GS/sec!!  ...maybe a hack will bring it up to full speed?   Oh well...wait for round II

When in the dark remember-the future looks brighter than ever.   I look forward to being able to predict the future!

that is a interesting little piece of kit.

All I am worried about is that it only has touch interface.

You might get frustrated when you try to get a nice picture on the scope but have to wait all the time for the menus to disappear.

and I wonder if it would not be nice to have an ethernet connection ( did not check in detail if it has WiFi though)

It says it has a USB connection:

Equipped with a USB interface, which can be connected to a computer to share its screenshots with the computer, which is convenient for secondary analysis.

But looks like just a mass-storage to get the images - no remote control.

Still good value for $140, though!

I have a sneaking suspicion they may not know what "standby" means...

Unless it's really saying that after charging you have 4 hours left to use it within?

(only disappointing thing is that does not mention any kind of protocol decoders but I guess you can't have everything!)

By the way the real Bandwidth (measured) is only slightly more than 20Mhz.
This is confirmed by the adc used.

A USB connection like that is indeed a reasonable alternative for a Ethernet connection, specially at that price. Connector seems a micro USB one, so for that you have more cables connected there it might be fragile.

Also interesting are the 100M probes. And the charging.... charge on the USB connector says 5V/2A but you can charge it with 4Amp according to the test.

But still an interesting portable scope with lots of features.

How about this one?

I might have to save up my pennies from the paper round to afford it though :(
