Hi,

When I want start Debug - Simulator, AVR Studio open new card "Disassembly" with text "No disassembly available" and Simulator not working. I have to restart AVR Studio and after it Simulator working.
AVR Studio V, WinXP, AVR Mega168,...

Any advice?

Strange. I just started seeing this too with an AVR GCC program. I'm running on my XP laptop away from home right now. I'll have to try it on my Windows 7 desktop when I get home.

It seems that when you start the simulator (start debugging and break), it breaks at location 0 (not the first statement in main).

Here's a couple of workarounds:

  1. click on Step Into (F11) until you get into your main code

  2. set a breakpoint someplace early in your code and click on Continue (F5)
