I recently purchased a pair of these multimeter probes. They are really nice. Shipping takes a while to the US. Do yourself a favor and buy a pair. The link follows the image.

I kindof miss the ability to hang the probe on a pin like we used to do with "mini clips" and dip packs.

That $1.94 price including shipping is unreal.

Iv had some vintage probes that had sharp

tungsten inserts, came with an old navy oscilloscope i bought.

Are those spring loaded? I came across some really nice ones that had a spring contact as-well, won't fly off the pad/component when trying to hold down two of those with one hand.
