Yea!  Any word on support for the new tiny817 family?

I asked Richard about support for the 16 reg avrs a couple months ago, and he said that would be like rewriting the compiler. Since these latest new avrs are 32 reg, I betcha he adds then in the next decimal release.

  Assembler
  - Added ".CPU AVR_reduced_core" directive to support the reduced core
TINY (e.g. ATTiny10) where there are only 16 registers and lds/sts
are 16 bits instead of 32 bits. When the directive is specified,
the assembler generates code appropriate for these TINYs.

At lease the assembler supports the brain dead tinys, so maybe some day.....    Not that I use those.

I was a prolific motorola assembler dude in the last millenium. 6800 6801 6802 6809 68000 010 020. Then one day I saw the compiler output in assembler of a uart subroutine, and it was exactly the same 3 or 4 instructions that I wrote in assembler, so I started doing c on hc11 and hc12 then switched to c on avrs and just havent done any avr assembler. I guess its nice to know its there.
