According to this new data sheet, the Atmega328PV is now just an ATmega328P and it works from 1.8 volts up to 5.5 volts from 4 MHz to 20 MHz clock (depending on the Vcc level). There is no longer a special V part with a 10 MHz top clock speed limit. Maybe this is the wave of the future?

Mike,

if you look at section 28.3 speed grades you will see that maximum clock for PV is 10MHz, for P is 20MHz.
You should also consider that there is no minimum clock frequency, you can operate the chips down to 0Hz (with no performance). Anyway, 4MHz is the maximum clock for PV at 1.8V.

Edit: Sorry, did not see fig. 28-3: the first to figures only refer to mega48/88/168P - what a nice surprise.
