Multiple drivers operation for same peripheral SAM MCU

Hello,

I've been facing an issue I hope someone can shed some light on. I'd like to use same peripheral in my SAMC21 MCU in different configurations throughout my application (e.g.: SPI Synchronous + DMA). Is this possible with Atmel Start / ASF4? It doesn't seem to be possible to add both drivers to same peripheral...
