I have to control a 3-digit display (7 segments type) using interrupt multiplexing.
Basically, I need to know the minimum value in order to avoid the flickering effect; how many milliseconds should I keep the power ON for each digit and also to ensure it is imperceptible for the human eye.

You want to do a complete scan of the display at least 50 hz, so for three digits
linger no longer than 6.6 ms per digit. You could use a 5 ms interrupt which
might be a handy interval for other timing functions in your program.

After you have got it working wave the display from side to side to see the differance various frequencies have.

Keep it simple it will not bite as hard
