On the AVRFreaks Main Page there is a News item for an AVR Study Board using the Mega16, by inovacs.

Under 'read more' it lists that the board includes a Weezer.

A few clicks for further info, home page, board schematic, and googling weezer did not get me very far.

So what is a Weezer?

Piezo-electric Beeper maybe?

In love was a very old geezer
Who tried every thing just to please her
"I'd like to stay here,
To show I'm sincere,
But right now I gotta go weezer."

(autobiographical? only the shadow knows...)

In the AOL "movie", weezer is not mentioned among the peripherals. However, there is a speaker (loudspeaker) and audio amp not mentioned in the Freaks promo.

Maybe weezer = speaker?

That would be my best guess. It's obviously a translation error... but looking at the features I don't see any mention of a beeper/buzzer or speaker, yet looking at the board picture it appears to have one.

Writing code is like having sex.... make one little mistake, and you're supporting it for life.

Weezee Jefferson from "Moving On Up"?

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.

I've never met a pig I didn't like, as long as you have some salt and pepper.
