Hi,

Is it possible to use more than one 32 bits memory chip with AP7000? I'm trying to help our hardware guy but neither of us can understand how this should be accomplished. One thought is connecting them to different CS, but not sure. We found documentation on Atmel website with an example for 16 bits memories, but we would like to use 32 bits memories to get more bandwidth for video output.

Well, you can not get more than 32-bit bus width. Go for 2 x 16-bit devices, to make a 32-bit bus in total. This is for example how the memory design is on STK1006 CPU module to STK1000.

It sounds like you want to write data out to the memory chip with the fastest transfer rate. As the other poster said, use two 16bit wide memory chips to get a 32bit wide data bus. Use the same CS line for both chips.
