SHould all freaks in attendance wear the're Butterflies? :)
Should be one of those Fukushima butterflies, then. They're kinda freaky.
If anyone needs hints on using public transportation to get to the Faire feel free to PM me or post the question on this thread as the Faire is in my neck of the woods.
I'll look into what is available and post it tomorrow
Curses!! Another CAPTCHA! :x :x :x
Is that the last word I wonder?
@jgmdesign What are things to do with-in walking distance of the faire?
Citifield, the home of the Mets. Tickets are available as the team as usual sucks after the all star break. I can say that as I am a long suffering Mets fan.
There are some decent restraunts if you walk around a bit. New york city is a couple of train rides away(less than 45min on a bad day).
Of course everything depends on what you like to do.
I'll see if I can get a better handle on some ideas for you.
EDIT:
The Arthur Ashe tennis centre is nearby if tennis your bag.
Take the number 7 train all the way to Grand Central terminal for New York City.
Planning on going again this year. It's always a lot of interesting fun. But it's easy for me, I already live in NYC.
BTW, I got a chance to meet Eric at last year's Faire in front of the Atmel booth, had a very pleasant (if short) conversation.
Hope other freaks get a chance to come out to the faire. Not sure there's really a lot of other things to do in that immediate neighborhood. But as been mentioned, all of NYC is just a subway (and other methods) ride away.

I will be participating as a maker, showing off and selling my gadgets. I look forward to meeting some freaks up there!

]Not exactly in your area but I am in New York state. I'm 200+ miles from NYC. Will probably not be there.Don
Hmm. That's quite a ways to drive! I'm sorry you can't make it.
