Hey guys,

I'm working on reworking a pcb trying to make room for more stuff!

The current board has 10 5v coil relays and 10 npn's and assorted passives to drive it, looking to squeeze them all to one end of the board but would like to get rid of all the discreet driver parts.

I'm looking to see if there is a chip array of npn's or n-fet's that would work and be smaller then the current layout.

I've looked that the ULN2003 but it only has 7 outputs so I would need two and that does not gain me much space.

Any idea's you may have used?

Jim

Just for reference--Even nicer (for more things, could run 12valves, or 8 valves & one motor fwd/rev, or 4 valves and 2 motors)

The NCV7708B is a fully protected Hex−Half Bridge−Driver

designed specifically for automotive and industrial motion control

applications. The six low and high side drivers are freely configurable

and can be controlled separately. This allows for high side, low side,

and H−Bridge control.

When in the dark remember-the future looks brighter than ever.   I look forward to being able to predict the future!

That would work if Digikey had any in stock and it didn't take 35 weeks to get more.....  crying

Appreciate the suggestion!
