I am just testing a CAN-Node based on AT90CAN128. The AT90CAN128 is working in listening mode. There is no additional CAN-Node on the bus.
After sending a Tx-Frame I get immediately an acknowledge-error. I assumed, in listening mode (hardware loop back internal TxCAN on
internal RxCAN) AT90CAN128 doesn't need an acknowledge from another CAN-node. The CAN-controller MCP2515 works in only listening mode
without external acknowledge.
Is it possible, that AT90CAN128 in listening mode is only working with at least one CAN-node on CAN-bus ?
That would mean in listening mode AT90CAN128 can only" listen" but not send ?
