Just do a forum search. There are literally dozens of threads on interfacing LCD's to avr's

What kind display are we talking about? Character based or graphic?

If we're talking about a character display, then search this site for eg. "LCD", "44780". It should yield heaps of results. (We've had at least three threads on the subject only in the last month or so.)

Since you're asking for code, it would help if you told us what language and/or compiler you plan on using.

As of January 15, 2018, Site fix-up work has begun! Now do your part and report any bugs or deficiencies here

No guarantees, but if we don't report problems they won't get much of  a chance to be fixed! Details/discussions at link given just above.

It's amazing how many people appaerntly do not have acces to google and have the need to use gibberish instead of any proper language (u == you).

A nice library though:

Well, between Johan and I, I'd say that together we have been involved in at least 100 or more discussion here regarding HD44780 text based LCDs.

I have submitted several working code examples, including a project called MyLCD Serial Backpack, which is a serial backpack for HD44780 based LCD displays.

But I'll leave the search for you to do as, apparently, you seem to need more practice using the search features of this forum, then you need the HD44780 code examples.
