Hey all,

Anyone have a recommendation for a LCD controller for this display?

http://www.azdisplays.com/prod/g1616b.php

I'll be connecting to a MEAG128...

Thanks,
Oc.

It seems to have a controller built in. You just have to send the data to it per the timing detals in the datasheet.

No it doesnt have a controller... it just has the row and column drivers that get driven by a controller... I have used a 160x160 display like this with a sed1335 controller (apollo displays has a sed1335 on a bd). Input to the sed is 8 data bits, rd, wr, cs... memory type interface, but most folks 'bitbang' the controller with data from io ports.....

Thanks Bob,

Bob is also correct in that the display does not have a on board controller. I wish it did though :)

I thought about using the SED1335 for this project as I've used it in past projects. I thought I would ask the general population here of what they would use to see if there were any different suggestions.

I guess the SED1335 wins!!

Thanks,

Oc.
