Hi All,

After an absence of quite a few years.... I am back looking at AVRs.

I have an arduino Mega with a 2560 and a JayCar XC4630 LCD display.

I have got this working with a demo using the arduiono environment and the library MCUFriend.

I have had a search for non-arduino sw based solutions (ie direct avr-gcc) but have not been able to find anything.

Is anyone aware of a code example under avr-gcc?

Thanks and hi to anyone that remembers me from some years back.

Regards

Greg

Why do you want to use C code?

The world is easier with C++

You should be able to find plenty of C code for ILI9325.    The UC8230 is similar to ILI9325.

If you choose a working ILI9325 project for 8-bit parallel interface,  I will show you how to adapt for UC8230.

AS7 will let you import your Arduino sketch into a project!

Thanks for both responses.

I had a go importing and get the error

"Failed to import Arduino sketch.unexpected token:

Token('for', 3645, 3648)"

My friend google has given a few leads. I cleared up a few Arduino compiler warnings.... but no progress.

I will look again later. If anyone has any great suggestions... they are appreciated.
