I just got a 64-bit Windows 7 machine yesterday and installed AVR Studio 4.17 on it. The USB driver for the JTAGICE MkII won't work -- Device Manager says "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) A service installation section in this INF is invalid."

Has anyone else had success? Is it a problem on my end or are the drivers not ready for Windows 7? (I have been using 64-bit Vista no problem.) If the latter, anyone know what to expect? (A fix in 4.18 maybe? I saw talk about the release candidate.)

I gave AVR Studio 4.18 RC4 a try and the USB driver worked with Windows 7:
