In earlier use of my mkII in debugWire mode (mega48) it was possbile to make the emulator sync into a running program. I mean, if I had a program running at full speed I could attach and start the emulator and be able to stop the program but not resetting it! Very useful for debugging a running application of something goes wrong but not very often.
Now, I can not make that work (but this is not the same design).
So, I wonder, was this just some sort of unsupported "feature" that I just runned into by luck or should it be possible?
Also, if this is not a well nown feature, Atmel may wish to think about making it work. It is a unusual and ususeful feature.
