Hello friends,
i just flashed a wrong firmware (possible it was for the clone) to my JTAG and now its dead :-(

USB not working, leds are lighting up but no communication with the PC.

I open it and saw an AVR128 mega on it and some pinhols like an ISP... can i use my STK500 to load a new firmware somehow??

Any ideas how can i save the life of my lovely JTAG ? :-(

thank you guys, feel my pocket's pain...

You can force the JTAGICE mkII to go strait into the bootloader IIRC.

The Help menu is not that informative, but might be worth a shot; http://support.norway.atmel.com/...

And let AVR Studio or AVR32 Studio upgrade your JTAGICE mkII...

I would try avr@atmel.com for your request, they might know how to get your Atmel JTAGICE mkII back in shape.
