I am trying to successfully interface my Adafruit Feather M0 in Atmel Studio, using the following instructions -

I have not gotten this to work, and posted debug work here -

They stated it should work just fine, and to reach out to the Atmel team to correct. Does anyone here have any suggestions or advice? Sooo frustrating, I feel like I'm close! :)

Maybe

IIRC a SAM-ICE is a rebadged SEGGER J-Link.

There is one possible problem with a fix :

Atmel Studio

Issues with ARM Compatible Tools

and the JTAG clock is linked to SAM-ICE :

Atmel Design Support recently moved in-house to Microchip; could search it for "SAM-ICE" or "J-Link".
