Hi 'Freaks,

I am getting an ARB (arbitrary waveform generator - like a sig-gen but can do any shape) to help me test different filter configurations for my range of RF products.

I am wondering if anyone can recommend software that can take the unfiltered drive signals I capture with my 'scope from the TX pins and convolve them with the filters I'm testing to get a waveform I can generate with my new arb? I was thinking of writing something in VB but that seems convoluted in the modern world of apps...

Tha aim here is not to get a match (I'm going to fix that at 50ohms), but just to find out what effect the different filters have on my range, emc emmissions, RF sensitivity, etc.

Thanks,
Murdo.

I'd personally use matlab (or more precisely, one of the many free clones out there). But there's a steep learning curve with it, and I suspect that there are simpler alternatives.
