Hi there,

I am going to make design a circuit using a mega16L. I 'd like to save some values in the internal EEPROM when the power supply fails.
Is there any application note about this isue?

The controller must be energized by a capacitor used only for it.

thanks.

Michael.

What power supply? Slowly falling battery or fast_failing mains?

Usually one detects the power fail an raise an early_interrupt.

I suppose you could just have the values always in eeprom? like only change eeprom when those values are changed, then you really wouldent have to worry about coding power failure scripts and such. but if you just trying to do this to learn, or its just what your after your going to have to awnser what MegaUSBFreak asked,I would assume.
