Hi,

I am trying to import an arduino sketch into Atmel Studio 7 on a PC with Windows 10  Pro 64 bit version 1809.

I have installed the last version of Atmel Studio 7  and Arduino IDE.

I make this operation times ago and it work, but now no more.

I start by creating a new project from arduino sketch, then it opens the window where I should browse for and select the Arduino sketch that I want to import.

When I click on the browse button to look for the arduino sketch, i get a message saying "value does not fall within the expected range", if I click again on the same button Atmel studio 7 crash.

I tried it several times, I even unistalled and installed Atmel studio 7 and the issue is still there.

I search in this forum but I can’t find a solution.

Can anyone help me on that?

Thank you

Livio

P.S. If I try to open an old project, that works some months ago, when I compile I receive the error: cannot find -lArduinoCore

Have you installed the Arduino IDE?

Why not use the Arduino IDE, after all its the same compiler.

I have the Atmel ICE and I want to use the debugger with the JTAG port.

I used it before and is more powerful than Arduino IDE, but now is not working, may be after the upgrade from Win10 to Win10 Pro (maybe).

Try installing the Arduino IDE, maybe it provides the needed missing files.....

Already done.

I have reinstalled Atmel Studio 7 and Arduino IDE, but the problem is still present.
