Did a search on here. Came up empty. One thread had a link to some place in Norway I think but the link was dead.

I called Digi-key and they don't carry 6pin. 10pin is as small as they go.

I searched on AMP-Tyco and they make a 6pin connector but it didn't come up with any distributor stock.

Has anyone found these darn things?

Which connector are you looking for? The 2row x 3column .1" pitch for the AVRISP?

This search for the Holy Grail has been performed before, IIRC. I remembered that one of the common houses did in fact list these, and I guessed Mouser. This page shows both plain and polarized:

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.

I've never met a pig I didn't like, as long as you have some salt and pepper.

I knew I could count on you guys!!! Thanks Dave, looks like you are the winner for the USA and Michael you win for the EU!!

Lee: I couldn't find them on the page you posted.

Now, so that I (and others) can find this again by searching... a few keywords:

6pin 6-pin six-pin six pin connector ISP AVRISP female socket FCI Quickie 2row 2-row .100 2.54 2x3 2 x 3

[edit] You are right! I was closing the window after pasting the info below, and realized I had the wrong page for the ribbon version(s). So, consider the postings below for the pinned versions as a bonus.

There are both polarized and non-polarized 6-position pinned versions on that page:

Quote:

AMPMODU™ MOD IV.V INTERMEDIATE PRESSURE
RECEPTACLE CONTACTS
• Stamped • Without strain relief • .100" x .100" Centerline

Non-Polarized, Double Row Housings

...
Polarized, Double Row Housings with Detent Latching
