hi,

when I click "Read Fuses" in AVR32 studio, it pop out a small window and ask me to a File path for the fuses record, and after I filled in one it said: "The file must be placed inside the studio workplace.", and no matter how I change the file path, it just always kept on showing this, so what's the correct file path then?

from AVR32 studio help

"In AVR32 Studio, fuse settings are stored in files that are a part of a project. You can create a new fuse setting by using the Fuse Settings wizard. The wizard can be found in the File -> New menu or by right clicking in the Navigator or C/C++ Explorer views.

You must first select the project where file should be placed, then type in the name of the file. The name must end with ".fuses". The next step is to select which MCU to create fuse settings for.
"

it worked for me

right click your project
New->fuses
file name example "try1.fuses"
and it is inside your project, click and edit it
