how to check network connection using atmega32

hello friends,

I am doing a project with atmega32 and Ethernet module ENJ28J60... for checking manually a network connection we just ping with ip address,my question is that how can we check the network connection by program .. there is any code to oing the network using ip address in atmega32... or any other way to check network by program? please help me . hope your valuable replies...thank you very much ....

Why create another thread? I gather you still are trying to find away around the problem with the enc chip going to sleep. I gave you a good link, have you followed what it suggests? Sure, it was a cpp file but all you needed to do was line up the couple of lines of code that address the defect.

 i do not know what you mean.. you think i do not want to fix my error i just want to post new threads here... i am not very excellent in English,, with my less knowledge i read the link you gave and i edited my program as what i  understand from the link you gave.. but i got errors.. i mentioned it in previous thread...you didn't replied to it.. i am happy if i can fix the error from you suggestions.. but i couldn't... i hope you can understand the situations of beginners.. if you wish to help me then i am kindly wishing for an explanation.. because i do not fully clear from the link...if you are ready to share what you get from the link then it will be very helpful for me.. thank you very much
