I get this message popped out when I try to load my code into the microcontroller:
Cannot find folder: C:\Program Files\Atmel\AVR Tools\Partdescriptionfiles\ATmega128

There is also an error message shown in the bootloader:
DID NOT FIND chip info XML file for the reported signature bytes
XML directory path is: C:\Program Files\Atmel\AVR Tools\Partdescriptionfiles\ATmega128

You can go to the link shown below to view the error message.

I have checked my hard disk but the file (C:\Program Files\Atmel\AVR Tools\Partdescriptionfiles\ATmega128) does not exist at all.
I noticed that the desired directory path is in
C:\Program Files(x86)\Atmel\AVR Tools\Partdescriptionfiles\ATmega128

How do I direct the bootloader to get the correct file path?

I'm using:
-ATmega128
-AVR Studio 4.18 SP3
-Windows 7 Pro 64bit
-BLIPS v3.0 (bootloader)

Thanks.

Follow the instruction given in the AVR Studio Help to change the Path:

AVR Studio Help-->AVR Assembler 2-->XML Converter-->Location and invocation

hope some thing would help you!

Thanks for your help.

I have found out the way.
This problem was solved by clicking "Change Folder for AVR Data in XML" button on BLIPS and select the correct folder. (as shown in picture)
