And try and get 30c stamps to go with your stock of existing 70c stamps.
I just tear a 70 in half... they can keep the extra 5cents.
That is a great deal seeing as how the company listed on the back of the unit wants almost $3.00usd for one unit. Plus delivery

Nice. Too bad the enable pin isn't exposed.
For US$0.49 I am willing to do some surgery on the enable pin myself.
Wonder if you can run a 12v water pump on two AA cells with one of those units?
Jim
depends upon the water pump. The one I just rescued and tried in my water storage tank draws 5.4 amps at 12 volts.
Is this just me forming conspiracy theories, or is the trim pot saying "BONENS" in the same typeface thar "BOURNES" use?
Our normal letter just went up to 19 DKr =2.55 €
An all too common story unfortunately. There was a whole batch of solar inverters that were dropping like flies out here. It all came down to a 1A schottky diode failing that really shouldn't fail and it caused a cascade a destruction that rendered them uneconomic to repair. There was no happy ending - a few peole got caught with dud inverters.
I don't see anywhere he specifies the input and output voltage ranges.
I don't see anywhere he specifies the input and output voltage ranges.
From the actual home page of the product:
1.Electrical characteristics
1). The maximum output current: 2A
2). The input voltage: 2V ~ 24V
3). The maximum output voltage: > 28V
4). Efficiency: > 93%
and...
3.How to use it?
[...]
and...
4.Notes
1). The input voltage should not exceed the maximum input voltage
2). The peak current output current should not exceed maximum output current
Point 4.1 is kind of a "Duh!"..
Note Quantity available 999k+!!! I wonder if that was a slight manufactures overrun on production, like someone missed the "." or "," depending on where your from, on the order form.
Jim
I was going to look up the part and make some post like "I can't even buy the part for that". Google found the datasheet from Aerosemi. But put mt3608 into Octopart or Findchips and they aren't available to mere mortals.
My 10 units are on the way... will let you know how they perform when they get here... "couple of weeks"
Might go for that myself. But then, they'd probably ship it to an address I had years ago. (Been having trouble with that.)
