Is there a way in PN to highlight a group of code lines and apply a tab so all lines go from col. 1 to col. 1 + tab ? If so, does Studio have such an operation ? Tools are 1 & 2 from sign.

1) Studio 4.18 build 716 (SP3)
2) WinAvr 20100110
3) PN, all on Doze XP... For Now
A) Avr Dragon ver. 1
B) Avr MKII ISP, 2009 model
C) MKII JTAGICE ver. 1

Huh? Mark lines and press Tab - in both Studio and PN (and most other editors I've encountered on Windoze).

You're talking about line by line though, right ? I want multiple lines at 1 time.

No... Why don't you just try it? It does work. When you highlight multiply lines and press tab all the lines move over one tab space.

That's what you'll get.

Note also that Shift-TAB will outdent the block to the left just as TAB will indent it to the right.

It's been a long time since I found an editor in which this doesn't work. (I'm guessing that maybe notepad.exe doesn't allow it but as I always use Notepad++ I've forgotten whether it was limited in this way)

You may also be interested to know that most editors allow the ALT key to be held down while dragging the mouse to highlight/select a column rather than a complete block. You can then cut/copy/paste.
