Hi !

I don't have any experience with GSM/GPRS modules so I would like to hear your opinion about this module:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-7V-4-2V-SIM800L-GPRS-Module-with-PCB-Antenna-Bomb-Slot-Micro-SIM-Card-/171537452067?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item27f06dcc23

It should be something like GSM shield for Arduino, right?

Documentation is here: (in zip)

https://cloud.mail.ru/public/93e91a5b626f/YB-SIM800L.zip

Which GSM/GPRS do you use or recommend to use?

Thank you !

Anything by "SimCom". In the old days that meant SIM300. These days it is SIM900.

I see from the URL above you are talking about SIM800 in fact - that's presumably just another one of SimCom's products.

Olimex has a SIM800 module with Arduino code.
