Is there an easy way to get a USB bootloader for an Xmega 128a4u?

Is DFU the best way? Will the new avrdude work with it?

I've been looking at ASF and LUFA DFU but they seem to make it difficult.

The Bandtank bootloader is simple to configure and build. I wish there was a USB bootloader that was so easy.

I get lost trying to use Studio 6.1. I could figure out Studio 6.0. but 6.1 is a mystery. LUFA DFU ain't so simple either.

I'm thinking of putting my USB code into the Bandtank thing but it would be considerable work and it probably wouldn't fit in 4k flash. My Xmegas have 8k so it is still possible.
