Hi,

There is a mode in Zigbee called Beacon. Is this mode just a synchronous mode?

As far as I understand a Zigbee router is very similar to a router in a computer network. Is also has a update table. Is it true?

Thanks
Owen

There is no such mode in ZigBee. There is a beacon frame type, which is send in response to beacon request and contains basic information about sending device. There is beacon-enabled mode of operation in IEEE802.15.4, but it is not supported bu ZigBee.

There is no update table in either of them, but both contain routing table. And few more tables.
