I am trying to run gdbserver in order to debug some code.

I use the com port on NGW100 and I get a segmentation error.

~ # cd usr

/usr # dir

-sh: dir: not found

/usr # cd..

-sh: cd..: not found

/usr # cd bin

/usr/bin # gdbserver :2345

Segmentation fault

/usr/bin #

You need spaces between the 'cd' and the '..'
Quote:

/usr # cd bin

/usr/bin # gdbserver :2345

Segmentation fault

/usr/bin #

Where did you get that copy of gdbserver from and which root filesystem have you got copied on there?

-S.

the gdbserver was not included in the image (I believe I got it from this site), I ftp the application onto the development board.

I tried it with the original image that came with the board as well as the latest image release, which may have been the same.
