Good evening everyone!! :D

I would like to learn more about the fuses and how to set them. That is because now I understand a little better how to work with AVR mcu's (I started with an Arduino board, AVRStudio & AVRdude) I want to begin to make my own boards for my own projects.
I know that with the fuses I can select the freq of the mcu and other settings.

I've searched on the tutorials forum, but I didn't find any tut. Could someone indicates me where I can find something about this??

Thanks!! :)

Read the datasheet of a particular AVR you use - it's all there.

Wow, that was a fast answer!
Thank you very much MBedder!! I think I didn't read enough the datasheet. It's a bit hard to understand, but I'll try.

Thanks one more time!

After reading Your specific AVR datasheet chapter "fuses", check AVR fuse calculator, for instance, at engbedded.com; there is plenty of information scattered over the forum regarding fuses, indeed.

Hi Felipe,

It sounds like you are getting more advanced. So, yes, you're ready to read the datasheet! Once you've gotten used to reading datasheets, they're all the same, AVR, PIC, 8051...

Good luck,
Michael Jamet
