Closing FLIP crashed Windows XP again last Friday.
After rebooting yet again, I managed to use FLIP
a couple more times.
Now, whenever I try, it vomits "Could not open USB device".

What do I need to do to make it work?
Has anyone solved the system crash problem yet?

Edit: I haven't abandoned my other USB thread.
This is rather important to me too.

FLIP is running again.
Eventually I tried to uninstall and reinstall FLIP.
The uninstall failed without notice.
The failure was discovered during the first reinstall attempt.
The installer couldn't write ...\AtLibUSBDfu.dll .
Though I'd killed FLIP with the task manager,
there was an undead javaw.exe process holding it open.
I couldn't kill it with the task manager.
It was eventually killed with a reboot.
After reinstalling FLIP, I can use it again.
Exiting FLIP doesn't crash Windows anymore.
