Hi - I was having various problems programming an ATMEGA168 with an AVR ISP MKII. I am using AVR Studio 5.1 and the firmware is up to date on the device. Sometimes resetting it would be enough to fix it, other times not. Typically it flashes its LED when I try to connect to my AVR and gives me a message about my supply voltage being too low.

I thought it was my circuit for a little bit but then I tried another MKII and have had zero issues.

Any suggestions for a fix? I was not able to find a schematic for the device. I think early on in my development I may have driven some of the programming lines with the MKII connected - so I'd believe that I could have blown out a level shifter on there or something.

Nope - same problem. Just got this message: "Unable to enter programming mode. Verify interface settings, target power and connections to the target device." after it reported my supply voltage as 4.5V (it's 5.0V).
