AVR Studio 4.14 Final Release

The final release of AVR Studio 4.14 is now available for download.

This release supports the new XMEGA device family in Simulator 2, STK600 and JTAGICE mkII. The new AVR Wireless Services application (supporting the AVR Raven kit) is also included in the release.

Hi

Has anyone had trouble downloading this file?
Mine stop at 90%.
Didn't matter what platform I use IE Netscape or Mozilla.

No problem from the beta_ware site here. Using Firefox w/wo DTA on XP.

hmmm I wonder how many people register as University professors from the University of Hard Knocks in Knocksville with an annual usage of more that 100,000 units per year.

Not that I would do anything like that or encourage anyone to do it. :mrgreen:

Hi

Problem solved.
Cause was (SEP) "Symantec Endpoint Protection V11" detected sort of a virus toward the end.
Had to disable SEP it for downloading & enable it after it finish.
Did a virus scan on it & it gave the all clear.

That's what is so grand with the beta_ware site. No registration, or other such silliness.

As of January 15, 2018, Site fix-up work has begun! Now do your part and report any bugs or deficiencies here. 

No guarantees, but if we don't report problems they won't get much of  a chance to be fixed! Details/discussions at link given just above.

Something one of the PR people from B&O told me:
Previously they had about 100 people that registered on the website per period. Forcing people to register was a blazing success, they got ~10k registrations in the same time frame!
.. only, they found, they now had a list in which only 1% of registrations were valid.

The system should at least recognise people that were previously registered, not to mention the esteemed members of avrfreaks. :)

Also I had to lie as my yearly usage is more than 1000 and less that 10,000.
Perhaps rephrase the annual usage questions?
