I'm trying to compile and install GCC on my Intel Mac Mini.

I used this as a guide:
http://www.anyma.ch/2006/researc...

I get these errors when I 'make' GCC 4.1.2

make[3]: avr-ar: Command not found
make[3]: *** [libgcc.a] Error 127
make[2]: *** [stmp-multilib] Error 2
make[1]: *** [all-gcc] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

Anybody have a clue to why these errors are occuring?

Thanks!

You have to have a version of avr-binutils compiled, where
the --prefix setting in ./configure must be identical to that
of your compiler, *and* the ${PREFIX}/bin directory must be
in your PATH.

Thnx. I finaly got it set up! I used the OSX-AVR pakage... there were some little things I had to figure out.

I had to add /usr/local/bin/(were AVRDUDE was located) to the .profile file in the root to get the Terminal to reconize when i typed "avrdude".

I got my LED's blinkin on my STK500 woot. Haven't done this stuff in quite some time!

Thanks!
