Hi,

When I route my pcb boards, each time a new track is laid down I run DRC and that takes up alot of time. Is there a way to setup some visual cues, say a 6mil hatch around my traces, vias, and pads so that I can be sure that I am keeping 6 mil spacing between things?

Regards,

Hi Again,

It looks like I can setup a stop mask for visual spacing cues.

Is that the proper way? Or do people use another layer such as the cream layer?

Why do not use grid for 12mil?

12 mil grid does not give me the density I need, also if I lay down fat tracks 12 mil grid is not enough guarantee the 6 mil spacing.

The software I use has "on-line DRC", I'd have thought that Eagle has something similar.
