Howdy,

Just bought a Dragon.
Trying to understand the features.

Is it possible to look at the instructions that occured prior to a BREAK instruction?
If so, where do I find the window/file from within AVRStudio?

If you're in a sequence of instructions it should be possible. Just open the disassembly window, and "the sequence of instructions close to PC" will be there.

If you're talking about trace'ing backwards through branches and jumps then there is no direct support for this. That would mean that the execution would have to be logged, down to every instruction which is not done. For such cases you'd have to rely, at least in part, on the prime debug tool advocated by e.g. 'wek' - your brain.

As of January 15, 2018, Site fix-up work has begun! Now do your part and report any bugs or deficiencies here

No guarantees, but if we don't report problems they won't get much of  a chance to be fixed! Details/discussions at link given just above.

LOL, that's the one I normally used for the last +12 years.
Just trying to figure out if the Dragon could take over some of this, speed things up and preserve some brain cells.
