Hi.
I am starting to use a Xplain board I've had lying around for a while. I am trying to find the schematic of the board. I have downloaded the AVR1907 files, and found the schematic for revision 1-4. Looking at my board, it is a revision 5 ?!? At least that is what I assume this marking on the board means: A09-0560/05.

I've looked high and low, but can't find anything about rev 5 anywhere, not even just a few lines of text that describes the difference from rev 4.
For now I am using the rev 4 schematic, and assumes that the changes to rev 5 are minor and of no consequence to me. But if anyone has a hint to what has changes, I'd like to hear about it.

I don't think the /05 means revision 5.

Look at the bottom of the board and see if the Rev is clearly listed.

My board says A09-0560/04 right above the board's serial number. Elsewhere on the bottom is a separate box that says A08-0551 Rev 2.

Well, the AVR1907.pdf states this in chapter 8.4:

Quote:
Revision 4 of the Xplain kit can be identified by a bar-code sticker on the back side with the following product ID: A09-0560/4.

It has similar descriptions for rev 2 and 3, where the ID is the same except for the last digit.

My Xplain board has a sticker that says "A09-0560/05", so I still think that it is a rev 5.

OK, I see what you are looking at would have to agree.

And, unfortunately, I don't see any reference to the Rev 5 changes.

Perhaps an eMail to Atmel is in order.

Is the Rev 5 board the Blue one? The others were Green IIRC.

No, it is still green.
