Has anyone at AVRFreaks designed a JTAG i/f or know of a DIY implimentation/schematic that can be used to build one:?:

Thanks!, I found exactly what I need.

Ha! Indeed that thread is Philosophical. However, I will say that I am from the Old School that believes in free tools before statutory Developer Rape for the benefit of Engineers and will continue to make my own decisions in this regard. In return I also believe that Atmel can thank me for caring enough to sell their MCU's in my designs as they have made thousands and thousands of dollar$ profit by way of me.
