I can't seem to find out how to set a data breakpoint in Atmel Studio 6. Does anyone know whether or not that functionality is in Studio 6?

I'm using a JTAGICE3, which says it supports a data breakpoint here http://www.atmel.com/tools/jtagi...

"3 hardware program breakpoints and 1 maskable data breakpoint (depending on the OCD module on the AVR microcontroller)"

I'm working with an ATmega1284, and it seems the OCD module on megaAVR processors does support a data breakpoint, as suggested here: http://www.atmel.no/webdoc/jtagi...

"Atmel megaAVR OCD (JTAG)
Hardware breakpoints can be combined to form data breakpoints"

So it seems the hardware can do a data breakpoint. Is this hidden in Studio 6 somewhere I'm not looking?

Any hints would be appreciated.

I do not have AS6 but in AS4 this stuff is well hidden so perhaps this post will give you an idea where to dig and what to search.

A bit OT: I wonder why did they mention this tool (JTAGICEMK3) can service 3 single program breakpoints + 1 maskable data breakpoint when there is no way to enable such odd set of breakpoints on any AVR they make. Including m1284.
XMega? Or AVR32?

No RSTDISBL, no fun!
