I'm trying to make the jump from AVRS 4 to AVRS 6 and it's a little confusing. I use ICCAVR, so I'm used to compiling in that environment and then opening the COFF in AVRS to simulate/emulate/debug etc. When I open the COFF in AVRS 6 it just shows me the binary. I've created a solution and added the source and COFF to it, but I can't the thing to emulate. I've poked around a little and it's clear Atmel expects you to develop with GCC within AVRS 6, but I know it's possible to do what I want to do, I just don't know the secret handshake. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

AS6 - File/Open/Open Object File for Debugging. Select your COFF file and away you go
