Hello

When I try to open the ELF file in AVRstudio (460) I get:
"Coordinator: Error loading object file."

What's wrong? Tried the coeff as well, and it opens, but the PC arrow and and breakpoints are really strange. Won't start at main etc.

Best regards
Björn

How did you build the object file?
Make sure you compiled with the gdwarf-2 option.

If there still is a problem, it seems that the dlls in AVR Studio somehow has gotten mixed up.
Try to uninstall AVR Studio, delete the folder and install AVR Studio with the latest service pack.

Hello Torleif!

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post.

The problem happend when I installed a older version of avr-gcc. Had a succesful workaround by writing the code from AvrStudio instead, still using the old avr-gcc. Probably does AvrStudio have a better make file then I do.

Best regards

avr-gcc versions included in older WinAVR distributions produced stabs, (I think), debug information by default ( the -g option passed to avr-gcc). Newer versions of WINAvr has an avr-gcc that produces DWARF when the -g option is passed.
This can be made explicit in your makefile by using the -gdwarf-2 instead of -g.
