Connect Backup Battery to xmega128a1

hi...
how can i connect backup battery to xmega128a1 which is a separate power domain that can be powered from a battery backup when the main power is
lost this transition from main power to backup power is done automatically.

Well, perhaps a dual input ideal diode chip, such as the LTC4413 would be useful.

thanks:)...
with LTC4413 when my Circuit change to battery mode stat pin change to 1 and when use wall adapter this pin is 0?
if no how i can find out when my micro use battery thank you:)
