I recently acquired a collection of scrapped boards containing the TI TMS320LF2406 processor along with a bunch of other usable parts. I have been searching the internet for a compiler for this part. I did find the AS assembler, but no C compiler I could acquire. TI had one, but their current software no longer supports this particular device. I was hoping to play with them out of curiosity, besides it seems a shame to throw away a bunch of perfectly usable flash microcontrollers. Even something that ran in demo mode would be appreciated and probably more appropriate for what I wanted to accomplish. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Roger

AFAIR the last CCStudio supporting the 2xxx is a 4.1. All versions are archived here.

From what I was able to gleen from TIs website the last CCS version was 3.3 see here http://www.ti.com/tool/ccstudio3 . This is only available by Paid subscriptions or (mentioned elsewhere) colege professors by special request.

I may go ahead and download and archive V4 and other versions for just this reason though.
