I am designing a small PCB that needs off-board wiring for +5V, Gnd and one comms line (0/5V). The PCB is about 2cm x 4cm.
I am looking at options for cheap and small connectors.
- The Molex KK 254 range is nice... but takes a fair bit of real estate. By the time plugs and crimp conductors are considered, it starts to add in cost. Considering these are 250V parts.... they are more than is needed.
- JST parts look more compact... but so far the plugs I have found are very expensive (digikey)
- Multicomp push and screw connect parts seem reasonably priced and reasonable size (https://au.element14.com/multico...)
Does anyone here have a "go to" that they always use that is cheap/small?
Thanks
Greg
