Eek!

I imported and built my sketch. Programmed the arduino using my Atmel ICE. Of course the program isn't working, that's why I'm trying to debug.

But when I try to debug, It says:

So, I answer Yes:

Since I can read the device signature and verify the program, I imagine the reset line is working....

What version of Studio?  Um 7.0.1188

Two "modifications" are involved for a Nano:

1.   remove 100nF DTR capacitor or cut track.

2.   remove 1k Reset pullup resistor or replace with 10k pullup

As far as I can see,  the Nano was specifically designed to upset intelligent ICSP programmers by having an extra-strong pullup.

And obviously upset debugWIRE both with 100nF and with strong pullup.
