I wonder if we also can expect the ATXtiny after the ATXmega?
With cool features like:
32 MIPS (internal xtal/PLL/RTC)
Hardware multiplier (MUL instructions)
USART/ISP/USI/TWI/biphase RX-TX/1-wire
10-bit ADC (with mux)
10-bit DAC (with double mux-s/h)
Analog comparator (with mux)
two 10/16-bit timers with PWM/quad OCR
two 8-bit timers with PWM/dual OCR
PCINT/interrupts/BOD/WDT/boot
i/o current sources for LEDs (multiplexing/charlieplexing)
lots of memory flash 16-64kB/1MB FRAM?
nice price also when buying single units
PDIP(hobbyists)/SOIC/QFN packages (8/16 pins)
Or else a new ATtiny with at least; PDIP package, hardware multiplier, 10-bit DAC, USART and high speed biphase RX/TX.
