can ICP be triggered without timer running in Mega128?

Hi, guys,

just a simple question:
I have enable the ICP interrupt and connect a signal to this pin and haven't start timer yet, so will this interrupt routine be executed without timer running?

Yes. The ICR1 value will be rather boring, though. (:-))
